The organisation committee consists of the newly founded supporting association Curling Event (CESG), a non-profit making association responsible for the event. The organisation committee from SG Open is part of CESG.
The European Masters and the SG Open together will be one of the biggest Curling Events in Switzerland. 4000 - 5000 people are expected.
SG Open: a short explanation
The SG Open is one of Europe's biggest tournaments at the end of the season. About 40 teams from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are coming to Sankt Gallen. This season the SG Open will completely be integrated in the European Masters: popular sports meets professional sports - a benefit for the athletes, the spectators and the organisation committee.
